AMBUSH® and Amazon Fashion is set to open an “Amazon Fashion SPECIAL POP UP STORE with AMBUSH®” at AMBUSH® WORKSHOP between November 9th (Fri) - November 15th (Thu), 2018. This POP UP STORE is a part of Amazon Fashion “AT TOKYO” which AMBUSH® participated in March 2018.
“AMBUSH®’s first runway show in Tokyo and the event we did in March with Amazon Fashion was so much fun and they gave us a lot of freedom while doing this. This POP UP is an extension of that, to show fashion can be beyond runway shows. As an Amazon regular customer, I wanted to capture the vibe of the Amazon packaging, the excitement of opening the Amazon box so we made the display cases from the box. The same goes for the items, almost an industrial vibe because that’s how I imagine the people at Amazon to be. The design is capturing that vibe, simple employee shirts, this is the direct concept,“ said AMBUSH Designer/Visual Director Yoon.
In collaboration with Amazon Fashion, a special installation at AMBUSH® WORKSHOP will be set up for the occasion.
At the POP UP STORE, special items with Amazon and AMBUSH® logo will be sold. This time, in addition to T-Shirts and Hoodie which acquired great reputation in “AT TOKYO” March 2018, Long Sleeve T-shirt is also offered. Each item is offered in 2 colors, white and black.

In addition to the shopping experience, Amazon Echo Spot, a smart speaker with screen, will be set up for customers to receive surprise video calls from AMBUSH®’s Creative Director, Verbal*. Customers can use the camera on Echo Spot to take pictures, try out POP UP STORE limited Amazon Alexa Skills, and to play AMBUSH®’s playlist on on-demand music streaming service Amazon Music Unlimited. The music play list which Creative Director, Verbal selected can be listened to with dynamic sound through 2 Amazon Echo Plus to be set up at the AMBUSH® WORKSHOP, and it can be also listened to with Amazon Echo series at home and with Amazon Music Unlimited app. (*on the first day, during a specific time slot only)
We will be holding a special giveaway of Amazon x AMBUSH® gift with first-come, first-served basis for people who experience using Amazon Echo during this period. Also from all those who follow AMBUSH® and Amazon Fashion official Instagram accounts and post a picture with #AmazonAmbush on Instagram, lucky winners chosen by lot will receive special prizes.
